A man is shot at his house while he fixing electricity down, Gibbs and teams go to check his body.
They found that he is Eric, Gibbs get called from Vance. He tells him that DoD interested in this case because Eric is going to get medal of Honor.
Abby shows Gibbs that his lover Armstrong lies to them, he found the body in morning and call 911 later. They questions him, Gibbs found that he hide the drug that he thinks is not from him.
Duck found something strange in him, after injured he suppose to have drug in his system to lower his pain but he has not. Gibbs thinks that he wants pain to punish himself.
They go to check his commander, they found that he write something to him but he removed it. They ask him why.
Hollis from DoD and Tony go to check the survivor, he doesn't like Eric but after he safe his life, he changed.
Abby found that Eric leave his out during night and goes to the addiction support, they go to check them they found that Eric is here and argued with someone.
Hollis tells Gibbs that Eric used to submit the honor once, but his commander blocked it. They question him, they found that him blocked anyone that is gay in his command.
Tony and them found the survivor also in same support group, they confront him  but he unconscious after they found same drug in his bag.
After he wakes in hospital, he tells Gibbs that Eric help him. Try to help him clean, he thinks he might tell him who he get drug from.
Tony and Bishop go to get him, they found the drug he made and gun he used.
